Bite me

Sunday, February 26th, 2006

Heheh, I should have posted this almost a month ago, but here it is anyway:

Bite me, Peter. Bite me.

What’s worse is that this Peter Van Der Zwaag actually talks like this. While he’s generally alright, he has far, far too many biases, he picks favorites in the school, and picks his shit list and gives them absolute hell, and he’s in a position of way too much authority considering the previous traits I described.

He also chased me around the school suggesting I move to another because I was more interested in following a career orientated set of studies based around Information Technology instead of somthing rooted in more ‘traditional’ science.

BITE ME.

Oh, it really wasn’t his concern where I was on that particular Friday anyway. I was supposed to be at Trade-School, not School-School (But I didn’t go anyway, funnilly enough, the administration at trade school didn’t give two shits. My teacher even placed bets with his wife that morning as to how many people would show up that day for class).

Oh and Peter, my free thinking ideas can’t harm any of the impressionable students. The damned fascist filtering system makes sure that this particular students free thoughts and ideas remain off the school computers.

And thus, after a mighty victory, he rose his fists into the sky, exalted was he, and bellowed a cry of triumph that even the gods trembled a the sound of. So great was his triumph.

A combination of GRMaker v3.00 and Wine 0.9.8 have resulted in no annoying .lst file deletion bug. Hoorah for me.

Back to Ubuntu Breezy, so far I’m greatly appreciating the solidity of it. No crashing, no kernel fuxxing, no more constantly being on my toes every time I apt-get updgrade that I had to go through on Dapper. Unfortunatly no more kickass features. Price one pays, though.

School is going alright, Data Trak aswell. Again, I was yet one of only three people to pass the last module. Barely, scored 76%. Minimum pass mark was 75%. But who cares, it’s over and done with now. Atleast my position in the top 3 of the class academicly (I’m mediocre to good when it comes to the actual work placement reports) is secured.

Data Trak is getting to be really good. I miss fridays, I get to hang with a bunch of guys who all share the common life goals and interests (atleast re. networking and such), who like the same metal I like. We sit doing work, trying to get Ashlie to tell us how to get foxtel for free, and how the US military could drop a nuke down your throat if you’re within range of three cell phone towers with an mobile phone (Tri-angulation ftw!). They don’t care that I’m a computer nerd, because I’m atleast nowhere near as annoying as fucking Josh in our class. We talk, work, fuck around, talk more, fuck around more, work some more. Etc. It’s pretty good. Not only that, but about 100/200metres up the road is a damn good fish and chips place that has the best burgers and chips. The chips are amazing, soft and fluffy, crunchy, blissfull. Not too much salt either. Golden. The burgers are cheap (Starting at AUD$3.40, cheap pretty much), have a good distribution of the meat pattie, tomato, tomato sauce, onions, lettuce… Very nice.

That’s about all I’ve got to shit on about at the moment.

Owen: It’s still mIRC though, which comes pre-packaged with a high concentration of suckiness.

Oh god. That last paragraph on my last entry was so damn corny. Eh. Shit happens.

So yeah, I’m now maintaining two seperate journals side by side. This is pretty much out of neccessity. A few friends of mine use the alternative culture journal/social service Vampire Freaks. Unfortunatly, like most of these damn social network services, you have to be subcribed to even browse the majority of things.

Plus it’s conveniant place for me to bitch and whinge about things in my life that have absolutly-nothing-at-all to do with my online life, and my more ‘normal’ life in general.

Do not judge me adversely for what you may see there. Actually, no, judge me however the hell you want. It’s my life, I’m not in the business to please other people. If you have that misconception, you’re going to get really dissapointed really quickly. I’m no innocent naive little nerd. I have my darker side (No, I don’t run around slashing myself and listening to slip-knot).
